One Year

Today Mia (and her blog in a couple of days) turns one! Enjoy your day!

Meiji Shrine

During our trip to Tokyo, we got to visit Meiji Shrine. You wouldn't believe this shrine is in the middle of the city. Here is Mia in her obligated shot in front of a Torii.

We then explored more of the shrine and Mia tried to study the prayer tablets.

Cat Cafe

I can't believe it's already October! With it being October, that means it's Mia birthday month and  blog anniversary!  Other than that, we went to Tokyo a photo exhibit and we had a lot of fun. One thing Mia enjoyed during trip was visiting the cat cafe. Mia got to meet two out of the twenty two cats at the cafe.

This is Lulu. She was quiet curious about Mia.

After Mia climbed downed, Lulu wasn't to happy that she was next to her. Few minutes after this photo was taken, she tried to push her off the shelf! 

Then there was Shirasu. He seemed spooked out when she met him.

Disneyland Part Two

The last few days of our trip went in a blur. One thing Mia enjoyed was getting up early and watching the crowd slowly dwindle through Downtown Disney.

To end my post, here is a shot with my friends! The Danboards and even Wall-e! (Who is from 366 Days of Wall-e!) 

We couldn't have asked for a better trip to Disneyland and can't wait until to visit again.

Disneyland Part One

Mia's first visit to Disneyland was last month and what a incredible time we had! Her first ride of choice was King Arthur's Carousel.

She wanted to go on again!

Another attraction she enjoyed was the Disneyland Railroad. Seeing the park in the comfort of her own seat was fun. Saved her little legs a lot of walking.

Here she is meeting Mickey Mouse! Mia had an interesting interaction with him. At first he thought Mia was a toy for Pluto and then he tried to put her in his coat pocket! 

Cheeeeese!

One thing we did during our Disneyland trip was the D23 Expo! So much to do in such little time. I waited in lines for events and got to see the Zootopia statue of Judy Hopps & Nick Wilde.

After the Expo, we met up with my friend Pink Bunny at Club 33! It was so nice to hang out together.

Somedays Mia has trouble getting ready and just wants to stay in bed.

Pancake Breakfast

During our trip to Maui, we found a breakfast place called Slappy Cakes. Here you have the option to make pancakes at your table. I could tell Mia loved being the little chef. She made pancakes for everyone at the table. Once she served everyone, she finally enjoyed the pancakes herself.
